Patience, hugs, and positive words go a long way with kids. Remember that your child’s teeth need the same love and attention from you, too. Here are some healthy flossing and brushing tips for tiny teeth:

  • Kids ages 3-years-and-older only need a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
  • Parents are encouraged to brush their child's teeth for them until age 8.
  • First floss: When child has two teeth side-by-side that are touching, or by the age of 5.
  • Even before teeth appear, wipe baby’s gums with a clean cloth after feedings.

Kids should also visit the dentist at least twice a year for a checkup. Be a super hero to your kiddo and schedule their next dental visit today!
